Information For Tag Along Tours
On our Tag Along tours you travel in convoy of no more than 10 vehicles, you travel in the comfort of your own/hire vehicle and enjoy some challenging driving while being escorted and assisted by your personal fully qualified and experienced guides, who are there for you for the entire duration of the tour.
Unless otherwise stated all out tour are self-drive and self catered and this helps to keep the tour cost down and allows you to design your own menu and try some camp cooking.
You need:
- Your own camping gear
- Sufficient food and drinking water
- UHF radio
- Front and rear vehicle recovery points
- Some items for the vehicle
- Personal items such as clothing etc
Please note:
Upon receipt of your booking and full payment or deposit we will forward our tour information pack, which gives you a more comprehensive outline of recommendations and requirements, and a detailed itinerary.
On longer trips we incorporate opportunities to stock up on supplies, do some clothes washing and maybe give our trusted trucks some TLC.
The duration of the tours varies from 1 to 64 days and overnight stops are mostly in bushcamps with no or limited facilities, and if there are no facilities, we provide the shower if possible.
We have designed our tours to allow ample time for breaks, walks, photography and rest and relaxation - after all it is your weekend, your annual vacation or even your trip of a lifetime.

A question we are often asked:
What happens if a truck breaks down or someone falls ill?
Our company policy is:
One for all and all for one. We do not leave anyone behind out in the field, we stay with the injured person and/or truck and organize help or whatever needs to be done. If this means we have to alter the itinerary, so be it.
This is one reason why you joined our tours, this is what you pay us for, to make your trip as safe and enjoyable as we possibly can.
If you are unsure if four wheel driving is for you - consider coming along on one of our 1 day tag along tours...
Or if you are already enjoying 4wdriving but you feel you want to learn more and raise your level of confidence, consider our Basic & Advanced 4WD Driver Training courses. They are a fun weekend full of information and learning, very hands-on where you get to practice everything.
